Specialized
Experience:
Specialized experience is experience directly related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience must be described for each grade level advertised. The specialized experience requirements for this position are:
Qualifying experience for GS-06 includes one year of specialized experience comparable to GS-05 which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, specialized experience is experience setting up and calibrating field and laboratory research equipment; performing tests and recording data; and running routine maintenance on laboratory equipment. OR Education:
One full year of progressively higher level graduate education in a related field. Related fields may include Agricultural Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Technology Management, Agricultural Engineering Technology, Agricultural Mechanization, Agricultural Systems Management, Agricultural Systems Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Electrical Engineering, Chemical engineering or other related degrees. OR Superior academic achievement in a Bachelor's degree program. S.A.A. is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership. Class standing -- Applicants must be in the upper third of the graduating class in the college, university, or major subdivision, such as the College of Engineering, based on completed courses. Grade-point average (G.P.A.)-- Applicants must have a grade-point average of:
3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 (B or better) as recorded on their official transcript, or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; or 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 (B+ or better) based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field or the required courses in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum. OR A combination of education and experience as described above. At the GS-07:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
