Operations Manager Position
Summary:
This position will be responsible for aiding all co-workers with the goal being to ensure daily operations are executed seamlessly and all co-workers receive assistance and training when needed.
Essential Functions:
Work closely with office personnel, and personnel on the road, providing them support and assistance when necessary.
Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls; direct questions and/ or issues to the appropriate personnel so they can be addressed properly and in a timely manner.
Communicate via email and instant messaging in a professional manner.
Update web applications as needed.
Provide informational updates to several departments as needed.
Assist with training new and current personnel.
Develop and maintain a close working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers, by working closely with those individuals to establish a supportive and trusting partnership.
Assist the Operations department, when necessary, by accurately, and efficiently, processing dispatch functions using the AOS/ AS400 system; sending and receiving messages, to and from, personnel on the road; utilizing GPS tracking systems; performing other dispatch related duties as assigned.
Performs any other related duties as assigned.
Necessary
Qualifications:
Familiar with Microsoft Office, ability to problem solve, organizational skills, ability to multi-task.
Preferred
Qualifications:
3 years' experience in an Operations environment or similar.
Physical
Qualifications:
Ability to lift 20 lbs.
