In this position, the team member will participate in the setup of events and provide support to the catering team; specific duties include:
Ensuring venue setup meets the expectations of the client (table placement, chairs, etc.
) Setting up assigned event with all the needed props, culinary equipment, and linens Providing client with suggestions and feedback for a smooth and efficient setup experience Assisting with the transfer, set-up and serving of food at events Storing food safely before, during and after catered events Assisting in maintaining and cleaning of props, china, flatware and other equipment To carry out these duties, the successful candidate must possess the following skills and abilities:
Reading and interpreting venue setup layouts Using effective communication skills Working independently with little supervision during the setup cycle Ability to work quickly, effectively and efficiently during the setup of an event Problem solving skills Ability to interact with clients and guests in a kind, professional manner Possession of a valid driver's license Ability to be carried on the company's vehicular insurance Ability to follow directions Team player Job Type:
Full-time (part-time status is possible as well) Pay range:
$15-$20 per hour
