ESSENTIAL FUNCTION Inspect incoming material for jobs and inventory against the P.
O requirements.
Furnish certs, and conduct final inspection for service center for shipment.
Provide dimensional inspection on subcontract work upon receipt of purchase order and out going fabrication jobs.
Assist quality control department when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must have thorough knowledge of procedures, techniques, and training requirements.
Ability to interpret specification and requirements.
Ability to conduct investigative reviews, utilize policies and procedures for quality control review.
Must maintain proper documentation and record keeping.
Must have professional communication skills and strong computer skills EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Related experience and/or previous quality control training preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes required to sit, stand and walk for extend period.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work environment requires attention to safety detail.
